The Dhyāna Pīṭha is the spiritual heart of Navayuga Ashram.
A Śiva liṅga is honoured there every day. The Pīṭha is a living place of practice, silence and meditation, around which an essential part of the spiritual life of the ashram is organised.
It gives Navayuga a stable point of anchoring for pūjā, recitation, meditation and silence.
WHAT IS A PĪṬHA?

The word pīṭha here refers to a place established around a presence, worship and practice.
The Dhyāna Pīṭha is built around a Śiva liṅga. In the tradition, the liṅga is deeply connected with Śiva, but it also points to that which is beyond every form and representation: the Absolute, which transcends traditions and religions themselves.
It is in this spirit that it holds a central place at Navayuga. Through the liṅga, what is honoured is not simply a particular form of the divine, but that which lies beyond all forms: universal and absolute.
Pūjā, mantras, meditation and silence sustain this life of the Pīṭha every day.
A STORY THAT BEGINS IN INDIA
from years of initiation to the return to France
After long periods in India and many initiatory journeys, Jayakrishna-ji knew that one stage of his path was coming to an end: the time of pilgrimage was drawing to a close and a new stage had to begin in France, where he would continue his ascetic practices, establish a place and, when the time came, begin teaching.
This impulse became clearer and was confirmed through mystical experiences and encounters that gradually led to the birth of the Dhyāna Pīṭha and give its story a distinctive character.
The construction of the Pīṭha and then the installation of the Śiva liṅga marked a major stage in the foundation of Navayuga. They gave the ashram a true spiritual centre and profoundly transformed the atmosphere of the place, its quality of silence and presence.
FROM THE DHYĀNA PĪṬHA TO THE ŚAKTI PĪṬHA
two complementary poles
The Dhyāna Pīṭha is Navayuga’s main temple. It was always intended to be accompanied by a Śakti Pīṭha.
If Śiva represents the masculine pole here, the Śakti Pīṭha will be established around a Śrī Yantra, symbol of Śakti and the feminine pole. These two dimensions may seem opposed, but above all they are complementary and inseparable. The Dhyāna Pīṭha and the Śakti Pīṭha will thus form the two complementary spiritual poles of the ashram.
As soon as the work on the main temple is fully completed, construction of the Śakti Pīṭha will begin.
